The following are photos from our short day trip to the Laguna Mountains just

east of San Diego. Not long ago a fire destroyed thousands of acres of land. The

welcomed rain is starting to bring green again to the landscape. This is a trip we took during the

Christmas Time between my working hours. Please note that we went down Interstate 8 and

went on to the Sunrise Highway through the Lagunas and then proceeded to Julian, San Isabel,

Ramona, Lakeside and back to San Diego. It was really pouring and the wind was really

blowing hard. There were over 128 accidents on the highway, but we kept clear of them

and drove carefully.
