PROVIDENCE SHIPMATES;

First, If you want to join us at the reunion, ALL shipmates are always welcome.
The reunion is ready and waiting for all your arrivals. Its only some activities that are filling up.

We have passed the cut off date for several of the activity reservations, but a few are still open. Hotel rooms are now on availability only, but at the same special rate, so check with the hotel first if you wish to stay there. Full breakfast, two hour cocktail party every night included in the rate. ($99.00 + tax)

There are a limited number of seats available on a couple of tours. Our tour director will be at the hotel on Tuesday and Wednesday to assist any one who wants to sign on late and he will do his best to see that you get to see the special parts of the West that you want to.

Many 1/2 day tours are also available.

We were allowed a ten percent increase in dinner reservations for the hotel Fiesta dinner on Friday. Saturday's trip to the Rockin R also has a few seats available. You will need to check with the Reunion Check in Desk for availability of the dinners that you want to attend when you arrive if you have not already registered.

Still looking for Lady Golfers to participate. Ladies Golf is played separate from the men's rounds. Clubs are available for renting and all who play will receive a certificate of play at the reunion. We need you girls out there on the course.

If flying in and wish to rent a car or need transport to the hotel, use one of the coupons printed here. Taxi's are costly in Phoenix. Just outside the hotel, a block away is a huge mall with many restaurants and shops, so unless you plan on traveling for sight seeing, a vehicle is not necessary.

We have had a great response to your USS Providence Reunion and look forward to seeing all of you here in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bill Price, Reunion Chairman
